NEW BOOK HAS LIBERTY MTN. MORABS AND MORGANS FEATURED IN IT!!
It was almost a year that we waited for it to come out, but now it's here! The new book on gaited horse breeds called "The Fabulous Floating Horses" by well-known gaited horse expert, Barbara Weatherwax, is now available to the public. Our gaited Morgan stallion, Mystery, is featured with his Morgan and Morab offspring in the chapters on Gaited Morgans and Gaited Morabs! This is the first time that Gaited Morabs have been published in a book! Liberty Mtn. Ranch has been given quite a bit of coverage in both chapters, and several pictures were used. This is a large book - almost 600 pages long and 1800 pictures! It's being sold all over the world. Get your copy today!

News for 2004:

January 2004 has already seen the gaited Morgan gelding, MYSTERY DANIEL, off to his new home in Missouri. The day after Danny left, the Morab mare, LM CLASSIC DEBUT, and her 2003 Morab filly, LM SPARKLING DUET, were loaded up and trailered to their new home in Texas to join Debut's other daughter, LM MYSTERY'S STELLAR DEBUTANTE. This makes four Morabs in two years that this farm has bought from Liberty Mtn. Ranch. In February, the 3 year old Morab filly, LM MYSTERY DESTINY, sold to Tennessee to the owner of LM MYSTERY MR. ZIP. She is so happy with Zip that she decided to get a Mystery filly to breed. She plans on bringing her back in 2005 to breed to our Morab colt, DAF STINGS CODA - see below. March saw our 14 year old Morab mare, LIBERTY MTN. DOMINICA (Nicky), sell to a party just a couple of hours north of us here in Arkansas. Her new owner loves to trail ride, and Nicky has already gone on several rides with her. We will really miss Nicky around here - especially when we have rides to do - but we are so tickled that she is so close and we will be seeing her on a regular basis. May 2004 we shipped off our 2 year old Morgan colt, MYSTERY CARAMEL, to Tucson, Arizona to his new owners at Santa Rita Arabians. Caramel's dam, DIVINE SKY FUDGE, has been on lease to this farm for the last year, and has a new Morab filly at side sired by their National Performance Champion Arabian Stallion, Wyoming Bey V+/. They are absolutely delighted with their new endurance prospect filly! Fudge will return later this year, bred back to Wyoming for us. Caramel is their new Morgan stallion prospect, and will be standing at stud there in Tucson starting next spring. That's another Mystery baby sold. A few days after Caramel left, we shipped our black Morab stallion, LM BLACK POWDER, to his new home in northern Vermont. His new owners are Morab breeders, and Powder will be their senior Morab sire. They are already getting interest in using him from Canada and New England Morab breeders. About this same time, we saw our Morab mare, LM NARISSA RUN, go to her new home here in Arkansas. She has now been bred to a Morab son of Mystery for a 2005 Morab foal. June came, and now our palomino Morab mare, LM GOLDEN SKY FROST, was off to Houston, Texas, to become an endurance horse with her new family. She joins the endurance Morab gelding, LM DENALI DIAMOND,  as he's in that area, too, with another party.

Our new announcement - this doesn't happen very often, but we have a new addition at Liberty Mtn. Ranch. The Morab stud colt, DAF STINGS CODA - see his new webpage for all the amazing details!

Keep checking with us for news of Liberty Mtn. horses going to new homes and other things!
